60 years: Eschlböck celebrates its anniversery and presents a new chipper generation

In 2016 Eschlböck is celebrating its 60 anniversary. For this reason many highlights will take place this year. The takeoff was the New Year’s reception on January 15th 2016: With about 230 guests from business, society and also employees and the neighborhood Eschlböck launched the brand new BiberPowerTruck-Line with its models Turox and Vican. The perfect location for this event was the new Biber Showroom, which was blessed on that evening by councilor of consistory priest Siegfried Schöndorfer. This service area includes a hall for the handover of new machines to the customers and more than that a training center for consumers and distribution partners.

Director Rudolf Eschlböck welcomed the guests and gave a short overview about the last 60 years and the next steps of the company. Governor Dr. Josef Pühringer emphasized the outstanding role of leading companies for the region and the international leadership of Eschlböck. Moreover he handed the Golden Merit Award of the Province of Upper Austria to the CEOs Maria Eschlböck and Rudolf Eschlböck.

The presentation of Eschlböck’s new BiberPowerTruck-series was amazing and technologically convincing: Now we have the Turox with 625 HP and the Vican with 750 HP on the starting blocks. Technical sophistication like a power-shifting transmission, the possibility of driving the vehicle from the operating seat and the extreme cross-country mobility thanks to four driven axles, while still respecting normal dimensions for street-trucks amazed our guests and inspired the technical press as well as international prospective clients for lively discussions until late evening.
